CAN I BRING MY OWN EQUIPMENT?
Yes, you may bring your own equipment to WINES CAMP.  A small dredge no larger than a 4" suction hose is allowed. A high-banker is also allowed. Although we normally provide the equipment, bringing your own will save you some trip cost. Metal detectors are allowed.  If you use only your equipment, then you qualify for a DISCOUNT of $100.

Since Emlly Camp is a partnership, you may bring any equipment that meets and conforms to the partnership agreement.

CAN I BRING AN RV?
Yes. At Wines Camp most RV's can be accommodated throughout the 440 acres and there are roads inside the property that suit them. There are no locations to park large motor homes outside the gate. We allow motor homes, tents, trailers and campers on-site. There are no hook-ups but we do have freshwater to fill your tank.  There is excellent locations to park immediately close to the lodge.

WHAT IF I WANT TO SLEEP OUTSIDE, SAY IN MY OWN TENT?
Yes, you may bring a tent to Wines Camp and there are many, many areas that are nicely clear. They are also closer to the work area than the cabins. Again, we offer a $100 discount if you provide your own sleeping quarters.

Emlly Camp Partnership only provides the existing cabin accommodations.  You may bring whatever you want for additional sleeping use.

DO I GET TO KEEP ALL THE GOLD I FIND?
Yes. All the gold you find is yours at both camps.

 `Finders Keepers'

However, at Wines Camp we also operate Common Operations where the gold is split among the participants.  This gold is in addition to what you find on your own.

HOW IS THE GOLD SPLIT UP ON A COMMON OPERATION?
When working with the backhoe and a common operation is run, much more material is moved and processed. Therefore, more gold is found. The gold is placed in a single container and then distributed at the end of each trip to those guests attending. You may work your own equipment and still get your share from the "Common" The larger nuggets are drawn by pulling random names from a hat. First names get their choice at the nuggets, one draw per nugget until they are gone. The rest of the flakes and flower gold is split by approx. weight and each guest gets an even share.

CAN I PROVIDE MY OWN FOOD?
Yes, but our food is excellent and there is no discount.  We no longer offer a discount for providing your own food and cooking.

WHY DON'T WE WORK OUR PROPERTY OURSELVES?
We do, and spend much time doing so. The TRIPS offer to us a way of sharing with like-kind people.  We enjoy both working our property in private and sharing it with others during the trips.  The alternative to our trips and small processes is to work the properties using large equipment. Our activity is clearly the better of the two from an environmental perspective.

CAN I GET A DISCOUNT AT WINES CAMP AND WHAT MUST I DO TO GET ONE?

$100.00- you provide your own camper/tent or RV.
