       Come enjoy a Oregon Gold Trip and get away from the city life!

At both camps, the association provides the cooked meals, cabin accommodations,  the equipment, and you keep the gold!! 

WINES CAMP is a drive-in location and consists of a lodge and small cabins near the mining area. There is approx. 400 acres of private mining property to explore and work. 

EMLLY CAMP is a fly-in only location and consists of 4 cabins on the 60 private acres.   To get to EMLLY CAMP, you are flown in by helicopter.

Reservations are required since we limit our trips to 12 guests.  Please use the  Trip Registration to book a trip, or simply call the Toll Free number.

Be sure to book early since we have limited spaces & accommodations.

Then once your are here, just forget your day job, the city rush and come enjoy the weekend like it was in the 1880's when the first miner was making a living here. Our camps are nestled among pristine woodlands and mountain streams deep in the heart of So. Oregon, yet with many comforts of home. 

Virgin ground remains available, but once it is gone, so is our opportunity to share it with others. Each one who accompanies us on one of our trips finds what they are looking for. Oregon Gold Trips, a partnership of seasoned miners, invites YOU to take a step back in time to the year 1859 when one of the RICHEST and most extensive mining districts in all of Oregon was found and staked. From that year until now, our properties have produced more than $10 million in GOLD NUGGETS and DUST. Large nuggets are found even today by our guests, and as the old saying goes, `Finders Keepers' during our trips. 

This properties are truly historical masterpieces as a leisurely walk through the grounds will reveal discarded relics from earlier mining endeavors. Flumes are left behind from the old hydraulic era. Also, a ancient water gates hand made from wood cut and milled on there is still standing. As one might expect, there is more than one sluice box that can be identified and in a state of deterioration. 

We offer you the option of working on a operation which includes a a backhoe and high-bankers or you may also choose to work alone with a small dredge or high-banker. The choice is entirely yours. We suggest you mine the ground recommended by one of the miners on staff, but you are entirely free to try your luck on a spot of your choosing as well. Either way, the ground normally produces some nice jewelry grade gold and an occasional nugget. 

This is YOUR opportunity to experience first hand the finding of GOLD in it's natural state on a historic real mining property known for it's historical wealth in gold values. 

MINING STAFF: We are on site and managing the operations while providing you with guidance, if necessary or if requested. We also provide training and willingness to share our experiences for you to be the most productive as possible in finding your own gold to keep. 

Limited Guests: 
Our trips are limited to small groups of 12 people. Larger groups are possible if our guests provide their own food and accommodations, however we make an effort to keep the groups small to provide personal and effective support from our staff.
