Oregon Gold Trips, a partnership of 4 seasoned miners, invites YOU to take a step back in time to the year 1859 when one of the RICHEST and most extensive mining districts in all of Oregon was found and staked. From that year until now, our properties have produced more than $10 million in GOLD NUGGETS and DUST. Large nuggets are found even today by our guests, and as the old saying goes, `Finders Keepers' during our trips. 

This properties are truly historical masterpieces as a leisurely walk through the grounds will reveal discarded relics from earlier mining endeavors. Flumes are left behind from the old hydraulic era. Also, a ancient water gates hand made from wood cut and milled on there is still standing. As one might expect, there is more than one sluice box that can be identified and in a state of deterioration. 

A clear and distinctive transition can be determined between virgin ground and the old workings. Tree stumps well over 100-years old give visible evidence of ground untouched by the old-timers. We make every effort to keep YOU in this VIRGIN material. 

We offer you the option of working on a operation which includes a a backhoe and high-bankers or you may also choose to work alone with a small dredge or high-banker. The choice is entirely yours. We suggest you mine the ground recommended by one of the miners on staff, but you are entirely free to try your luck on a spot of your choosing as well. Either way, the ground normally produces some nice jewelry grade gold and an occasional nugget. 

This is YOUR opportunity to experience first hand the finding of GOLD in it's natural state on a historic real mining property known for it's historical wealth in gold values.

MINING STAFF: We are on site and managing the operations while providing you with guidance, if necessary or if requested. We also provide training and willingness to share our experiences for you to be the most productive as possible in finding your own gold to keep. 

Limited Guests: 
Our trips are limited to small groups of 12 people. Larger groups are possible if our guests provide their own food and accommodations, however we make an effort to keep the groups small to provide personal and effective support from our staff. 

You will stay in a miners cabin .

These small group operations have reliably produced coarse gold for the finders. 

Environmental Statement: 
The alternative to our trips would be to commercially operate which would be far more destructive to the ecology.
